The pages are a bit too stiff for acceptable emergency toilet paper, which makes the book completely worthless. I've barely looked at it since buying it two years ago, but recently attempted to adjust my headlights and had no luck at getting them to move. So, as a last resort, I checked this manual and was very disappointed. It shows how to change a bulb, and some line drawings of headlights I don't have, but doesn't show the adjustment screws or tell which direction they need to be turned to move the beam up or down on my 1997 Tacoma. Save your money and look up your problem on the Internet instead of paying for this block of useless pulp.
This is a basic must-have for an older truck. Thank you!
Doesn’t cover all components. Tries to cover too many variations of Toyota’s, so it’s didficult sifting through the information :(
Bought it for the wiring diagrams, but they are all shrunk down to fit two per page, and completely illegible. Waste of my time and money.
Great source of info. Wish there were more wiring diagrams for interior components.
This manual is helfull for very generic and general repairs/maintainace but was not nearly specific enough for my 1999 4-runner to give me accurate instructions/diagrams. It was helpful but I would prefer something that describes my exact make/model better.

The book is OK. The shipping was snail mail but it got here. I purchased my first used land cruiser and it is OK for simple maintenance. Not enough diagrams for the landcruiser but there are tons for the pick ups and 4Runner. If I were more mechanic savvy it would probabely be easier to read.
