It is a superb book, well organized and deep enough to cover the ideas with rigor. Any book that survives to a sixth edition has something going for it, and this text is a keeper.
The sixth edition of this classic of leadership literature is just as impactful as the third edition, which I had as a text in graduate school. I used this for a course I'm piloting this semester and the content kept the students thoroughly engaged.
Almost every paragraph in this book had me underline something. This was required for a course I took and I will read it again! So good!! The concepts in here are useful not just for the workplace, but for all of life. Very well communicated and they give good points of view from experienced people who have put these principles into practice.
